Selection process
FGV Entrance Exam
The enrollment period for the entrance exam for FGV's School of Applied Mathematics occurs annually.
ENEM (National High School Exam)
In addition to the results of the entrance exam, FGV also classifies candidates based on the grades of the National Institute for Educational Research of the Ministry of Education (INEP / MEC).
External transfer
EMAp FGV provides enrollment in the selection process through external transfer and for diploma holders, for those interested in filling remaining vacancies in the undergraduate program. Check out the edict:
Dual Degree
FGV is opening applications for the Double Degree Program for students currently enrolled in undergraduate programs at FGV EBAPE, FGV DIREITO, FGV EMAp, and FGV CDDOC for the first academic semester of 2025.
Summer Program
In January and February, FGV EMAp offers options for courses, mini-courses, workshops, and academic summer seminars for undergraduate and graduate students at FGV and other undergraduate and graduate educational institutions. FGV EMAp summer programs are conducted by renowned professors and present rich content on Applied Mathematics and its applications. Thus, students can expand their knowledge and create a solid network of contacts.
Support at all Times
Reference channel for FGV students, the Pedagogical Support Center (NAP, in Portuguese) provides assistance related to all the individual and collective needs of students and acts as a support channel for coordinators, monitoring, and supervising the execution of the Pedagogical Project for the courses.
Student Organizations
FGV EMAp is a school that encourages its students. They are always on the move and carry out projects such as the Academic Directory of Applied Mathematics (DAMA, as in Portuguese), the Financial Market League, FGVALLEY, FGV +, and FGV Jr
Scientific Initiation Program
EMAp offers several Scientific Initiation courses developed especially for undergraduate students. The School also participates in PICME - Scientific and Master's Initiation Program for OBMEP and OBM medalists.
Internship and Career Development Center - NEDC
The Internship and Career Development Center functions as a channel of integration between companies (private, public and third sector) and students and alumni of undergraduate, providing tools that help them in the process of entering the labor market.
